The Historical Museum of Cheerleading and Dance (HMCD) exists to display, recover, document, preserve, and promote the history of cheerleading and dance. Through our collections, we want to publicize the evolution of our sport over the years, show how its development has been in different countries, and leave a legacy to all future athletes.
We envision a museum accessible to all as a vibrant public space at the service of our community, to foster the development of our sport around the world. The Museum will be a meeting point and a resource of inspiration for current and future athletes.
In the short term we want to position the museum as a must see for all who want to learn more about Cheerleading and Dance in the world. In the long term, we will seek to install the museum in a physical place in order to be able to display our collections to all sports enthusiasts.
